Chest pain is a common symptom and there are many causes for it. It is not easy to determine the cause without further tests and investigations. People always fear a chest pain may be a sign of heart attack and it might be true in some situation. It is likely to be a heart attack when the pain is unrelenting, lasting more than five minutes and radiates to the back, arms and jaws.
